I really dont think it was the permawet that caused the yellowing, I might have been a chemical reaction to the type of paint under the permawet ?

Was it monster-makers white mask paint, or the latex paint base?? The latex paint base by itself looks white, and turns a yellowish color when dried. If it was their mask paint, was it stirred up real good? Maybe the white pigment separated from the latex base to much, and you ended up with a higher ratio of latex when you painted??Just a thought.

Hmmmm strange. I would call or email Arnold @ MM and talk to him about it, see if he can help figure out whats going wrong. Also ask him about stripping the permawet, but i can only imagine stripping the permawet will mean the paint coming off too.Was this paint new stock, or have you had it awhile?? Maybe the shelf life of the paint is expiring??.Ive never had that problem with permawet, so this is new to me as well.Hopefully one of the mask artists will chime in in the mean time.Good luck, keep us posted, I will be curious to find out as well what is causing the problem.
