color is good but i think the scratches are a bit much . yeah i had that same problem with the buttons too . mike,

Looks pretty good, man. Take some pics without flash, though. As for the snaps, everyone says to use "Line 24" brand, but I've found that the ones from the craft section of Wal Mart work just as well. For about $3, you get a bunch of snaps, an anvil and two setter pieces.

That looks pretty sweet man!!! As for the snaps, line 24 is best. I couldn't get them to hammer on, so I glued them. Yeah, that doesn't sound like it would be strong enough to support straps, but trust me, it is. I scratched up the mask where the snaps go, and scratch up the snaps too, then use E-6000 or Goop glue, then let it set for a day. Strong as no other.
