This is very frustrating. I cant hammer the post so it will stay put, because the mask is shaped the way it is, I cant lay it flat to hit it.I hope that made some sense. Any help,TomP.S. I have a whole new respect for you hockey mask makers! This aint easy.

I'd suggest getting some snap pliers, they'll make it MUCH easier. The snap pliers are usually about $20 and come with a few snaps as well, you can find them at Joanns or another craft store. The pliers should work fine for the top 3 snaps, but if you find that the pliers can't get to the bottom two, you could probably just glue them on using some Goop glue or something. I've used Goop to glue on all the snaps to Neca masks and they are NOT coming off, ever.

I use the edge of a work bench, you can put it flat and tap the snaps a few times to set it and then give it one big whack.or get the pliers like what was mentioned.

I'm a huge fan of riveting snaps to hockey masks. It makes them stay put FOR GOOD and they typically won't spin or come loose. The trick is to make sure your rivet is short enough not to stick out so far that you can't attach the "female" end of the snap back to the male. Then if it does end up sticking out too far, I just dremel it back....BUT! you must be VERY careful with this because you could easily melt the plastic with the heat generated while grinding.
