Got New hockey masks From Don - b47 - 06-03-2009
Well today I've got some sick stuff from Don (MBK Studio) and I was amazed by them as always! My friend and I ordered our masks together and they arrived today with freebie for us. He got a free part 4 and I got a free remake <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":biggrin:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Thanks to Don for his generosity. So here some shot of them with a small review <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":tongue:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Part 9: Along the border of the mask there are small, but importation, distortions that makes the overall mask even more damaged. The "cheek damage" is really well done with several black tone and scratches all over the border plus a slight amount of blood that perfectly fades with the dark tone of the damaged zone. The right eye feature a small glimpse of blood that drops from a small hole above. The blood is all textured, you can really feel the blood and it looks pretty realistic! This amazing blood covers the top section of the mask and again, match perfectly with the coloring tone of the overall mask. The eye damage is done perfectly, with many subtle scratches and distortions and again, with some blood over it. The Hockey Mask is pretty accurate. I really love dirty and damaged stuff.. This one won the gold medal! ALL over the Hockey Mask you can see small subtle scratches surrounded by BIG deep ones. The "scars" are amazingly done with several "kind" of scars... you have the big ones that are textured INSIDE WOW. and the medium ones that have the inside more "whitish" and you have the very small ones that surround the entire mask. When you touch the mask, you can feel all the distortion. There's even a side of the mask that lower than the other! You can fell some "holes" all around the mask. RemakeI already had a remake Hockey Mask from Don (the older version). So I can compare them. The new version is REALLY and improvement! The shape is entirely modified and it really feel like the screen accurate one! The coloring is perfect with some dirt mud here and there... Again, the mask is covered with many scratches that makes this mask looking old as hell! The mask feels really different than the old one. Also the separation between the "mouth holes" is bigger than the old version. All the noticeable damage you see in the movie is on this (what my mommy called my daddy whenever he was late on the child support)!<img src=\"http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee335/DadaJuice/DSC01937.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee335/DadaJuice/DSC01938.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee335/DadaJuice/DSC01939.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
