What's the best way to soften leather? I have an old pair of logging boots I never wore beacause they were uncomfortabe due to how hard the leather was and I was wondering if there was a way to soften them up so they'd be more comfortabel.

You need to condition the leather. Leather's like a human being, if you don't give it moisture every now and then, it will keel over and die.The best product in my opinion? Pecard's Leather DressingI've also used Saddle Soap and Sno-Seal Protectant. I've owned leather upholstery in my Thunderbird, four leather sofas, three leather chairs, and over 20 leather jackets. I use conditioner on all of them.

Not very eco friendly but mink oil works great.
