This isnt directed towards anyone in particular but mod status alone, i think some guys are over doing it, what is there a warning level for if you arent going to use it, and can we get like a general mod, or captain, chief, someone to mod the mods???? I just think its ridiculous some of the things they get away with, set rules then make your own, if we have to follow rules then they should too, and im not saying anyone broke them, but your setting standards and then dealing with them in ways other then the rules state, furthermore in my case it will only hurt the person trying to follow the rules, maybe the mods need to re-read the rules!!! Like i said im not lashing out at anyone in particular, i am upset about my thread getting locked for something i had no control over, and after recieving messages freom other people from the boards about mods then i just thought i would make an awareness so that the guys who do thier job correctly as a mod can teach the youngens that have mod status how to be a good and fare mod!!!

I see what you're talking about...I didn't do it...but if I was the first to see it I would have done it. None of us are "youngens" as you say. I don't really see how we are being hypocritical on this.If you have a problem with any of us you should refer to Justin and not post in a thread. It won't end up how you want it to, I promise.

nicely put. some of the mods need to be policed. for the most part you guys are doing what you are supposed to, but locking someones thread because others are commenting on it is just dumb. they have no control over that and the mods should know that. it should not be an automatic lock of a thread and you guys know it. so pleasel, do us a favor and ease up.thanks, mike.

We as the mods ARE the forum police. Justin put each of us here for a reason. Justin is the final word on anything and everything related to this forum so if anyone would be policing us it would be him. I can assure you he does not have the time nor the inclination to do that. That's why we are here.At the end of the day it's just a classified add. Many of you are only here to peddle your own products and should be glad that Justin allows you to do that on his business site.

Dude i wasnt expecting anything in particular from this, it was just simply to make it aware that you guys arent always fare, and yea while guys are here to pettle their things i usually only put my collection pieces up for sale and am actually here because all the cool people who are interested in the same thing i am, and call me friend, what we are just peasents here or what, we cant speak our minds either? I know Justins busy thats why i made a thread just to make it aware that some mods are like 20 yr olds in a police uniform, so my thread should have been locked because someone commented on it? im sorry but i have no control over that, i planned on adding to that thread instead of making a new one, and ofcorse we all appreciate that Justin lets us use the ad section, all im asking is to be treated farely, Tommy had a great Idea on how to deal with comments on the ad threads, wouldnt a warning to the guys who commented be more just??? Yea its Just an ad section to you bro, buty sometimes its the diffrence in wether my kids eat mac and cheese or steak and potatoes!!!And sorry about saying the youngens, i mean the newbies(not youngens) to mod status can often abuse their power!!

i do not treat this forum as a classified add or a place to make money. this is my place to speak to other people like myself who love this hobby, and if you think that most of us are here for monetary gain then you should rethink your job as a mod. that is not why we are here and i am sure that most of us take offense to your insinuation.mike

First off I didn't say most are only here to make money, I said many. Second, this topic is closed as what needed to be said has been said. Follow the rules and please don't whine.And if the classifieds here are what put dinner on your table then you are obviously using it for something other than just selling your collection pieces(please refer to the post you are complaining about),
