Neca Remake Hopck Questions - Halloween666 - 06-25-2009

Ok I just got My Neca Remake Hockey Mask today... The Straps suck they wont even fit my (Dern, I done gone and growed another head) 24.5" head... My question is how hard is it to replace the straps with the straps sold on frightstuff.com. Do i need any special tools and what not... and what colors do I need to repaint it to give it the weathered look like in the movie... and are the cheek snaps hard to put in thanks.

All you need to do to remove the straps is take a flat head screw drive and gently wedge it between the snap in the back of the mask and gently pry it off. Someone may have a better method though. I'm suprized the straps didn't fit you though, my head is about 25 around at least and mine still fit's kinda loose.

you could use the back part of a hammer " the buck teeth " and slowly pry the rivet off from the front end as the strap will be used as protection from damaging the mask . then just run out to a walmart or something and buy a pack of black elastic straps for $1.10 , fit it to your head and make the holes so you can attach the straps to the mask . at leas tthat's what i'd do and it'd be alot cheaper too mike,
