They don't make Halloween and Friday the 13th games and such because those franchises aren't as big with the age crowd games are targeted towards, Saw is. Video games are big business, and its all about money.

They have been around much much longer and with the remakes...I don't see how they couldn't be. There is a lot more you could do with those titles as a game than some pointless gorefest.
