Nightmare Part 2 Glove Finished - Fredsmidfinger - 01-24-2010

As most of you know i am building a glove for "Nightmare On Elm St 2" actor Mark Patton. Tell me what you think.. Things will change on my next gloves. Main thing being the depth/length of the fingers.. They are not as shallow and long as the should be, Which throws off the look of the glove but not too bad. That's my only complaint but all in all i am pretty happy with it! I think it plays the part really well.. Drawstring with metal ball will be added .Family shot with my Vs glove and Adee's Pt 4

one of the main things that I recognize about part 2 gloves is the glove placement. the backplate usually starts a lot lower on the glove itself and it doesn't seem to be as low on yours. the overall structure looks nice, though.

My fingers are a little to short so the back plate placement is a tad to high.. This will change on my next glove

the Pt 1 glove was built on a medium leather glove. That and the long fingers is %90 of the reason why it looks low with the armature mounted. on it. . My glove is built on a medium <!--quoteo(post=347499:date=Jan 24 2010, 03:43 AM:name=knifegloves.com)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE (knifegloves.com @ Jan 24 2010, 03:43 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecRemember... the Part 2 glove is the same glove as the Part 1 glove. I love it! Like you said, the fingers could probably be a tad longer but overall, awesome. Also, I talked with Mike about the leather glove size yesterday. He's not sure if it was built on a medium or small leather glove. With the old wells lamont gloves, the mediums and smalls were the same length but the small is just more narrow. Considering how long and skinny fingers looked and the fact that Englund has small hands, it's possible that they used a small. They used a wells lamont small on my old screen used 4/5.

I understand what you are saying about how the cuffs are today, but between 1 and 2, I think there is a prominent difference between the armature placement on the leather glove itself.
