I do have a question. I was reading that you could not wear a freddy shirt or any think that could be copyrighted, could you explain in detail what we can and can not do in the submissions?

I was told you only wanted "pictures of the items that YOU created and those only". Once I said I didn't make anything in my collection, I didn't get a reply back.

There are some questions on the end of people submitting in terms of what they can and cannot submit. To that end, the submission page has been amended to a degree to include the following statement:<b>BEFORE YOU SEND</b><i>We cannot accept material that contains trademarked logos or any other copyrighted material. Your work must be original and your own. We cannot use your video/photo if you are displaying anything that could be considered "copyrightable." Yes, you may dress as Freddy or your favorite Elm Street character or show us your original artwork or collectibles that relate to your "Fred-Head" fever, but please try to avoid things like "Star Wars" T-shirts, Budweiser bottles or your "Hello Kitty" collection from 1987! This guideline also applies to anything that can be seen in the background of your videos or photos (including any art hanging on the walls that doesn't relate to your devotion to the "Elm Street" series). Otherwise, we'll have to blur it out or toss your submissions into Freddy's furnace. (And yes, we welcome submissions of your original "Elm Street" designs and artwork.)Don't be discouraged by the lawyers... Boiler rooms and basements are fair game!</i>Furthermore, there's this, from one of our Producers (and in this case, artwork means busts, sculpts, masks, drawings, paintings, sketches, etc):<i>We technically need permission from the person who created any kind of original artwork to be able to show it. But if the person is sending us a video of themselves saying, "I'm the biggest Fred Head in the world and here's why" ... and then shows us their vast collection of Freddy merch, that's fine. But if it's just a still of a painting, drawing, glove, mask, or bust ... we need permission from the person who actually created it.</i>So, if you're confused about anything or have any questions at all, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me and I'll try to get any and all concerns, questions, and inquiries satisfied and answered as soon as I can!See you...in your dreams!
