Joe has been working on this piece for a loooong time. Every now and then I message or email him to ask about its status. To the best of my knowledge it's still not complete. This is probably my favorite Freddy sculpt to date so I truely hope he is able to finish the project.

Thanks guys for the continued compliments. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Yeah I'm still here and the sculpture is both complete and safe under wraps waiting. Waiting for what, you ask?I'm needing an experienced molder to help me make the master pull (paying him for his efforts of course, and I haven't a clue what this will wind up costing me). After I have a master pull I will feel comfortable getting the experience in making further master molds myself as it is a latex or silicon head being molded and not the clay sculpture. If I try molding for the first time and it fails along with now the ruined clay sculpture (as most often happens when pulling the mold apart), it's over. 3 years of off-and-on-again work down the drain. The problem is also that it is too small to make latex masks (allowing for shrinkage) The sculpture's crown is already at 23 1/2 inches (I know, I know, total rookie move on my part - shut up!). It will need to be blown up about 15% and then a new master pull made. I guess I can go just the silicon route and cut out all those who can't afford it but I'd rather not. I would like to be able to sell resin heads for the modeler/painter, latex and silicon busts & masks/Anyone living in Southern CA feel free to chime in here. There's this great part 1 Freddy just steps away from being on display shelves, mannequins and on people's heads.Anyone who can help, here, PM me or contact me: joeixlndtwo@aol.comLee? Russ? Magnificent Void, I would say your best initial route would be a good silicone mold. This way, if anything should happen to your sculpt, you have a flexible mold to do a clay pour cast that you can do other types of molds from. Also, depending on the type of silicone, you can do both silicone and resin casts from the mold. Plus, in the hands of an experienced caster, your sculpt has the best chances of surviving silicone molding. Here is a link to casters and mold makers through smooth-on:<a href=\"http://www.smooth-on.com/p101/Moldmakers-Exchange/pages.html\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.smooth-on.com/p101/Moldmakers-Exchange/pages.html</a>Superb work by the way!Hope this helps.
