Lars10's "hero" Remake Hockey Mask - lars10 - 05-15-2010
Hi guys. Got a PM from a few people regarding the posting of Megatrons new "HERO" hockey mask he just received. They were wanting to see some of the details better so I figured I would snap a few in progress shots of one I am currently working on. The shots are from some weird angles due to the fact I haven't even gotten to the bottom half or sides yet(less then 50% complete). This is just to give you a better UP CLOSE view. Big thanks to Rich(Haunted Museum) for helping point out alot of unseen details you may catch. I had never even noticed the crack that runs through the mask's forehead till it was pointed out by Rich. Now it jumps out everytime I see the mask. It looks like they even tried to patch it or glue it about halfway up the forehead. It is also the reason the triangle is angled or slightly crooked. Thanks again my friend you are a wealth of knowledge. <img src=\"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/larspeterman/4e35eb0e.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />That's alot of detail to try and squeeze in a very tiny chevron.<img src=\"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/larspeterman/62687e89.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/larspeterman/856c5984.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/larspeterman/fee66efc.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />I know it looks like a rocket launcher hit it square in the face but every scratch is 100% faithful to the hero mask. Have a good one guys and thanks again for the positive feedback. I'll post some finished pics later when it's totally done and gets its final light satin clear coat(that makes it all come together).
