Anyone else catch the midnight showing? Or seeing it over the weekend?
I thought it was pretty cool. Nothing too amazing, but just as good as the past few flicks have been.
Possible spoiler:
[color="#696969"]Dr. Gordon[/color] makes a pretty interesting comeback.
There was honestly no real point in making it 3D, but other than that, not bad overall.

I'm with you Scott. I liked it but it was nothing exceptional... as good as the passed few films. There were some cool traps as usual however I find myself wondering when the hell did they have time to fabricate all these elaborate designs? Again, like you I didn't see the point in making it 3D as it didn't add anything... just a sign of the times.

my thoughts exactly dude. the first couple of films (mainly just the first) was totally believable as far as traps go. but I gotta be honest....(spoiler below)
...when that capsule looking thing erected towards the end (that burned the girl alive) I didn't know what to think. it was all so high-tech looking, I honestly thought she was about to blast into space, lmao
but hey, I guess you shouldnt think about these things and just have fun. and this flick is perfect for that,

I have a feeling there will be a Part 8... and now Gordon will take over... who were those two people helpin him at the end?? I probably wouldnt question it... if those two werent there and it was just Gordon takin Hoffman down by himself at the end... granted that would be hard missing a foot
And the tapes in this one... Jigsaw's voice, Hoffman's voice???? Or Dr. Gordon's voice?!?!?!?!?!!Personally, Id like to see the series end... but would go and see Part 8 if it happens!!!!
