It is my great pleasure and I am so very proud to announce the latest project from 1428 Films and Panic Ventures. Someone has taken their love of documentaries one step too far, and the ultimate look back is going to be murder!
The creative forces behind this year's award-winning, critically-acclaimed Nightmare on Elm Street retrospective, Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy, are back for more murderous mayhem, this time taking audiences behind the scenes of the suspense-thriller that changed the face of fear forever!
Producer/Director Daniel Farrands (Halloween 6, The Girl Next Door, The Haunting in Connecticut) and Producer/Writer Thommy Hutson have reteamed once again to explore everything that made Wes Craven’s postmodern shocker Scream the definitive horror blockbuster of the 1990s.
From the genesis of Kevin Williamson’s original “Scary Movie” screenplay to the film's final gross of nearly $200 million in worldwide box office receipts, SCREAM: THE INSIDE STORY will take fans deeper "behind the screams" than ever before.
Featuring rare archival materials and exclusive new interviews with dozens of cast and crew members, this all-new, two-hour retrospective is being produced as part of the acclaimed A&E/Biography Channel series The Inside Story. Poised to be the definitive look at the 1996 horror film that is said to have single-handedly resurrected a dying genre, SCREAM: THE INSIDE STORY will give fans an insider's look at why the film, the cast and, of course, the inscrutable "Ghost Face” killer have assumed their rightful place as true icons of modern horror cinema.

I watch the first Scream maybe more than any other horror movie I own . Brilliantly made and an amazing cast too . 2 hours isn't enough for me lol . But I know it'll be worth the watch for sure . I honestly can't tell you how many times I saw it in the theatre .

INSIDE STORY: SCREAM is set to premiere on Wednesday, April 6th at 9pmEST/6pmPST on the Biography Channel as part of A&E's acclaimed INSIDE STORY series.
Directed by Dan (Never Sleep Again, Halloween 6, The Haunting in Connecticut), written by Thommy (Never Sleep Again) Hutson, and produced by Lito (Never Sleep Again) Velasco, the film is poised to be the definitive look at the 1996 horror classic directed by Wes Craven. Featuring all-new interviews with key members of the cast and crew- including Wes Craven, Neve Campbell, Rose McGowan, David Arquette, Bob Weinstein, Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, and many others -the film will delve deep into the making and release of and reaction to the most critically acclaimed and financially successful horror film of the 90's that not only changed the way horror films were made but also impacted pop culture in a way rarely seen.

Crash did work on this show, and as the archivist and librarian responsible for all the visual materials for the show (in addition to producing and music supervising), let me tell you...he has outdone himself on this show!
