Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - Jasonlivessince1980 - 05-22-2011 Took me almost five months of sculpting but I'm very happy with the results... still might make a couple of tweaks here and there before I spray it. Can't wait to have this molded. Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - msharrow - 05-23-2011 what a great sculpt brother. hok painter and sculptor....what else you got up your sleeve? mike Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - crazydog500 - 05-23-2011 (05-23-2011, 01:27 AM)evilsmellyclown link Wrote: what a great sculpt brother. hok painter and sculptor....what else you got up your sleeve? He is also a undercover Clint Eastwood. Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - The Death Curse - 05-23-2011 It needs a lot more (and much deeper) skin detailing and the anatomy of the neck and ears could use some work, but it's looking great so far. Cheers, Ryan Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - puckface - 05-23-2011 Ryan hit the nail on the head as far as my opinion goes, as well. The sculpt rocks hard so far, but the ears could use a bit more work, and the overall sculpt could have deeper detail. Otherwise, you will see a loss of detail in the pulls after only the first few copies. But MAN that is awesome. I will definitely be interested in a copy when it is done. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - GraveOctober - 05-23-2011 Forms could not be nicer. Great work! Keep in mind though my camera isn't very high quality and the skin folds are clearer in real life. Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - Jasonlivessince1980 - 05-23-2011 btw here is a clearer shot of the skin detail Part 6 1:1 Cj Sculpt (New Photos Page 2) - jasonsfury - 05-23-2011 It looks great, Jason! With some more detailing you will knock it out of the park. Like I said, it's not detailed enough and the detail that IS there isn't carved deeply enough or carved in the right directions (in relation to the original film sculpture). Furthermore, the "wrinkle details" you have made so far don't meld together and aren't even close to the heaviness of detail found on the original prop mask(s). That's especially so around the entire half of the face you just photographed. It's definitely not anything caused by your camera or lighting circumstances. In terms of general shape, this sculpture is the best around so far...However, if I were you, I'd take it easy and invest a lot more time, research, and concentration on the fine details to assure that your finished masks aren't easily topped in the future. You'll most certainly sell more of them that way. Cheers, Ryan |
