Brand New Don Post Masks Paint Cracking? Update W/pics - robocop - 07-27-2011 Hi guys. I just bought a new don post killer klown mask. There new for 2011. I noticed that when you bend or flex the latex the paint cracks. Is this how don post is doing things these days? or mabey just a defective mask. I know from painting masks that if you dont put enough latex in your mask paint this happens but i have never seen this happen on a mass produced mask. Thanks. Brand New Don Post Masks Paint Cracking? Update W/pics - Patsmear - 07-27-2011 Not sure what they are doing. To save the one you already have, go get Plasti dip clear, in a spray can. A couple of coats over the painted areas, and it will create a barrier and stop the paint from cracking! Oh and can you post pics? I will say they are pretty thin castings and the paint is shoddy. See how the poof of hair looks like it has a rubber band around it holding it in place? Not so its glued stiff as a board. don post did a craptacular job on these production wise. I do like the sculpts for the burger place klown and fatso but slim and shorty look terrible.
