Okay guys, I am proud to announce my upcoming line of products inspired by a widely popular horror/cult hit…….. Phantasm! My Line-Up will include several products based on the most iconic elements from the films.
Firstly, I am working with the fantastic artist Erich Lubatti to produce a Full-Latex Bust of Angus Scrimm as the Tall Man. It will be a Limited Run of 10 pieces. This is a brand new sculpt, made from scratch. We are working towards the final product looking EXACTLY as Bob Causey’s previously discontinued Tall Man Bust. Our’s will be full latex with several different options. For glued human hair and acrylic eyes, the price will be $375 each. For hand-punched human hair hair-line and eyebrows and acrylic eyes, the price will be $500 each. We can also foam fill the bust for an additional $100. With that being said, we MUST have 10 Deposits of 50% of your total before Mr. Lubatti even touches clay. For either option you choose, you will receive the following; 1x Tall Man Bust and 1x Signed Certificate of Authenticity. More info on Ordering at the bottom of this Ad.

-Thanks to Bob Causey for the pictures
I will also be offering the iconic Drone Sphere from the films. I will only be offering, for now, the P1 sphere with accurate blades and drill. There is no set price or Release Date as of yet because we are still seeing if there is any interest in this project and trying to cut costs without sacrificing quality. CNC machining is NOT cheap! I am personally working on building a functioning but non-firing replica of the Quad-Barreled Shotgun used by Reggie Bannister in the 2nd through 4th films. If there is any interest in this, I can produce copies. Again, there is no set price on these. However, I EXPECT them, because of supplies, to be about $400 each.

To place an order for the Tall Man Bust, simply contact myself in any of the ways below. Also, feel free to PM/Email me with ANY questions that you may have regarding any of our Phantasm Products. Again, you will be required to submit a minimum of a 50% Deposit of your total upon placing your order. The project is expected to take around 2 months to finish. The finished product will look as close as we can possibly get to the pictures above. This will be of the highest quality materials. There have only been two Tall Man Busts made in the past. So, if you missed out on those, this is your chance to own a Rare and Highly sought-after piece! If nothing else, feel free to Contact me with your opinions on any of these projects rather it be good or bad as I need feedback to know what to change.

Thanks guys, and I hope that we can gain your interest in this project to move forward with it!

"We are working towards the final product looking EXACTLY as Bob Causey’s previously discontinued Tall Man Bust"
That\'s a pretty bold statement.

I agree with the above post. I find it it a little off-settling that one would post pics of another person\'s work and state that his product will (hopefully) look exactly like one of the finest artists work in the business. We\'ve all been burned on projects like, wayyyy to many to count in the last few years. People need something more than promises and pics of someone elses work. Especially when 50% is needed up front. Not sure what to make of it...best of luck......Larry

I would have to agree. Not trying to cause any issues, but asking for 50% up front with out knowing what the sculpt will even look like is a bit of a risk. I can understand the goal of this project, but i\'m sure many will agree that committing to a project sight-unseen will most likely not pan out with getting people to drop that kinda cash. Especially basing the interest on that it will come out looking like Bobby C\'s work. There is no guarentee of that, every artist is different.
I would say pay to have Eric comission a Tall Man sculpt for you guys, then advertise when there is something to show what people are getting into.
Good luck though. I would love to see another Tall Man out there!

Well, I dont know what else I can show or provide. I told you guys the name of the artist, if you need to see his work, you can visit his site. Other than that, I dont know. I\'m just trying to proivde a great and rare piece to the public. If you have doubts about the artist\'s finished work, simply dont post! Let this project sink to the bottom. I already have two people ready to pay, and not from this forum. If this fails, as it looks like it will, then I will have to try and find the money to commission the piece straight-up from Erich, buy the rights, and sell them individually. But I can almost promise you that I\'m not going to be able to save up that kind of money with the way that the economy is. I\'m not looking to start trouble, but I just wanted to respond to the negativity that\'s been brought to my offer to the public.

Well I think the part that everyone is having a problem with is not that you are trying to have a Tall Man bust created because i\'m sure that most of us would love to have one but wasn\'t able to snag a Causey one because of the high price . But more so that you all are going to try to make it " exactly " like Bobbys . I mean you might as well recast his if you\'re going for exact . To me , that\'s the great thing about this hobby is that you can pick say for example jason part 7 as a mask . There\'s prob. hundreds of people who sculpted " their version " of it and eventho it\'s all of the same character , they all look different in some way . All of the ones Justin has made looks different and the same with every other . I would love to see Erich sculpt a Tall Man but just with his take on it and not from someone elses idea and photos . That prob. doesn\'t make much sence to you but I was just trying to explain why some people may object .

Well I appreciate your input. I worded it that way because thet\'s the only decent version of the Tall Man that\'s out there. It\'s pretty much representing the universal look of the Tall Man that the few who have sculpted him in the past go for. I wanted to show people something other than just screen-caps. Wanted to show that were working, based off of a past piece rather than just low-res pics from a movie.

I don\'t see anything wrong with comparing the final outcome of your project to Bob C\'s work. I simply took it to mean you were aiming for that level of quality, which is a good thing. These types of projects are tricky which I think is the reason why some have posted their reactions (which I don\'t feel were intended to be directly negative). Like others have said, it\'s very difficult for some to throw down several hundred dollars before the clay is even purchased. I think each collector may have a small list of artists with whom they would feel comfortable with such an arrangement. That\'s not a bad thing... perhaps the product of years of successful transactions and a built-up relationship. I have been involved with two projects of this type; Rich Krusell\'s "U-Fuq" and "Dead is Better (Pascow)". Rich would be at the top of my list of artists with whom I would not hesitate to make such an arrangement.... with Justin Mabry and Jeremy Bohr completing my list.
Perhaps you could gauge the interest from collectors and take some suggestions as to who they would like to have make the bust. People may be more open to such an idea if they feel they have some say in the selected artist. Regardless, I do hope you\'re able to get your project off the ground. Although I already own Bob\'s Tallman bust, I think it would be great to see another version available for collectors; such a classic character! Good luck dude!

I can\'t wait to see where this goes even if it\'s a good or bad thing. I would like a Tall Man for sure to add to my collection since nobody else makes them.

Would love to see another tall man bust out there. Just wish I had the dough for it.
