My First Sculpt - JASON11 - 12-27-2004 Well I got my monster makers kit for christmas, so I decided to start sculpting yesterday. This is my first sculpture. I was inspired by SPAZ\'s part 6 sculpture that he did a couple of weeks ago. So I decided to try my own. So here it is. I\'m not finished yet, this is about 3-4 hours of sculpting. My First Sculpt - gmyers - 12-27-2004 Not that bad. The nose could use some work. If your looking for movie accurate than I would get some more pics of Jason from pt. 6 and redo the noise. And for some reason, the scuplt looks to small. Idk, it just may be how the pictures made it. Add some more detal, but over all not bad for a beginner. My First Sculpt - GBeninati - 12-27-2004 looks like you are getting some good practice in it is really hard to do a part 6 without incooperating your own ideas good luck G ps- try getting a space heater to put near the sculpture to keep the clay workable My First Sculpt - RCuomo 2.0 - 12-27-2004 Good work so far... keepin pluggin at it and youll be a pro in no time! Cheers mate Steven My First Sculpt - Tom - 12-27-2004 Great work man,i see a future full clay and latex for you! My First Sculpt - VF31 - 12-27-2004 i c the fulci Zombie in there too keep practicing man! My First Sculpt - englundisgod - 12-27-2004 WHAT NO PEANUTS LEFT /??!#&*() My First Sculpt - CreepingDead - 12-27-2004 Lookin good! Adding details should be the last thing you do. Get all the shapes where you want them first, and then start adding wrinkles and details. Using Monster Makers Clay, you\'re gonna want to be using your "cleaning tools" if you have them. Those are the ones with the metal loop at the end. Sure, they are great for digging and making lines, but lighty drag them across the surface of the clay and see how they kinda "peel" the clay, leaving a nice smooth area. When it comes to smoothing it out at the end, don\'t even bother with water or alcohol. It has about the same effect as throwing water on a rock to try and smooth it out. I personally use lighter fluid (the kind you\'d fill a zippo lighter with). Very dangerous, and I accept no responsibility if you try it (i.e. - I\'m saying that\'s what "I" do, not that\'s what YOU should do). It works though. Don\'t worry Creeping dead, i\'m not gonna try that just yet being it is my first mask and all. Thanks for your input Thanks for the rest of your input, guy\'s.
