Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - travsall - 04-04-2005 Finally got the figure! Took a little while. Released from his little plastic prison I got a good look. Not too bad a figure, the mask is alright (my BIG nitpick of course with any figure) The bigest problem is paint though, they had the right idea, but didn\'t go all the way. So late last night I broke out the paints and had a go at him! Went pretty well I think, gave him a couple washes, little dry brushing, added some blood of course, and happy with him now! So here\'s the before pic from spawn.com, exactly how mine looked. ![]() and mine how it looks now! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() had to add the finger scratch marks too! ![]() Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - puckface - 04-04-2005 I like Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - The13thDreamShape - 04-05-2005 LOL Looks wonderful, has a more realistic look to it Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - Mutilated - 04-05-2005 Wow, I love it dude, great job! I may have to do that to mine as well! Jon Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - gmyers - 04-05-2005 Hey Travis, if you don\'t mind me asking, what colors did you use for his mask? ![]() Mcfarlane Remake Bubba - travsall - 04-05-2005 I used a few different colors for the mask, took a little bit to get it right! First was a good raw umber wash, then a light burnt umber wash, little burnt cienna for some highlights, yellow ocher dry sponged to give it the sickly look, then I took a little more raw umber for the eyes, his left side, under the skin flap. I used a few different colors for the hair too, raw umber, burnt umber, light brown, all dry sponged. For the body, I did a medium raw umber wash, leaving a little more in sweat, or worn spots ie sleve ends. Then sponged on a little blood on the apron, saw, and base. Took a good couple hours! |
