Camera Question? - Cap10Rhodes - 05-03-2005 I was wondering what kind of camera takes really great non-flash pictures that isn\'t to expensive. I have a Kodak DX7630 6.1 MP camera and I can\'t for the life of me take non-flash pictures with it. They always turn out dark and out of focus. Even if I put a bright light over my masks they still turn out dark. I see some really great pictures on here without flash and I want to do the same so I can get pics of my Psycho and other masks up on the board. I don\'t want to put them up now because my camera does no justice for the them at all. I\'m looking for something that\'s a 4.0 MP or so and is in the $200-$300 range. Help me out please. Camera Question? - krazedkilla - 05-03-2005 Hell man I am still wondering how to post pictures. can ne1 help me and this guy out Camera Question? - SuperDanDrista - 05-03-2005 ummm...when you post on this board all you have to do is browse attatch files..not hard Camera Question? - krazedkilla - 05-03-2005 i hate being a damn newb... Camera Question? - Cap10Rhodes - 05-03-2005 Well I can help you with that. You have to go here and set up an account. http://www.photobucket.com/ This is a picture hosting site. After you\'re all set with an account, it\'s free by the way, you can start downloading images off your computer to this site. Once you have a picture downloaded you right click the bottom thing that has [IMG] on the ends. Copy it and then just past it right in your reply. It\'ll come up as an image once you post. Does that make sense, hehe!! Give it a try. Now back to my question, hehe!!! Camera Question? - krazedkilla - 05-03-2005 I am sorry man but if you want a good digital camera go with a Sony. Or you can go to this website www.amazon.com. Go to Electronic\'s (Camera\'s) then you can go to an adavanced search and put in your budget and what brand and if you like the camera read the user reviews. They help alot. Camera Question? - fright-rags - 05-04-2005 Well, the lower the light, the longer the shutter must be open to accumulate enough light to \"expose the film\" so to speak. Have you tried all the different exposure controls and ISO settings? Try it on a manual setting of ISO 800...that should allow greater exposure. I checked on the specs of this model and it seems liek there are enough controls to get the effect you are looking for...and I doubt you\'ll have this many to choose fromon a lesser priced model. Read the manual if you already haven\'t, and that should point you in the right direction. The reason they come out blurry is because while the shutter is open, any movement whatsoever will affect the final image. The best thing to do is get a tripod, or at least set the camera on a table or sturdy surface. Set it on timer if need be so nothing disturbs it. Basically, the camera you have should perform...it jsut takes some playing with it. I felt almost the same way about my Sony CyberShot. But a littlte tinkering with the lights seem to help wonders....Photoshop helps too Try lighting it from two directions, and if it seems too harsh, tape a piece of paper over the light so it diffuses it and then move them around some. The best is to have one key light on one side, and a fill light (a bit dimmer than the key light) on the other to soften some of the shadows. You can even light the background a little if you want. Anyway, I hope that helped a little... |
