I\'m sure some of you have seen the endo NECA, or own one. Damn nice sculpture, best there is on the market that\'s under $400 right now, however, the paint work, or lack there of kinda ruins it. The flat \'toy\' grey they went with is terrible, REALLY should have been chromed at that price point. But, since it wasn\'t, makes for a hell of a project for me! Big Grin
I didn\'t wanna just go ahead and make it all shiny and new, I wanted an endo that has been out in the wastelands kicking ass for a lotta years, real well worn and weathered! And now, that\'s what I got! This took a while due to it\'s size, was the hardest wash work I\'ve ever done too, to get to all the spots, and keep it even. I\'ll do a basic run down of all I did. First thing, I took it apart as much as I could, took the head apart so I could fix the eyes. The left eye was really crooked and the red pupil stuck way out and looked like crap, so got all that fixed which was kinda tough. Then, did a black wash to every square inch of him, that took about 3 sessions of 2 and half or so hours each. I then painted his teeth with 4 different colors varying shade, tone and plaque build up. Then reassembled him, and did any wash touchups that were needed. Then while he was in one piece, I added the rust, grime, dirt and leaking hydraulic fluid. The gun, I drilled out the barrels, did some silver dry brushing for the scratches and worn look, then added a little rust over some of the \'bare metal\'

Here\'s a shot how it comes right out of the box.

That is nice, I think you oughta offer your figure painting services. You could probably make some extra money.

Thanks a lot guys!! Glad ya dig the work! Mike I got mine from a toy guy who lives just a little ways away from me, if you wanna grab one, you can get em at Spencers, or any specialty stores near you. Then there\'s always ebay.
No shit eh Aaron? For this price point, the paint work they did is just rediculas. It was NECA who makes this one, Sideshow has some fully chromed maquettes, but they\'re around $400
