So I finally got an undrilled blank, and I need to drill the holes before painting. I realized I\'m not sure what size bit to use. I know this may seem like a stupid question, but I have over 15 different hockeys, and while most of them are fine, some really stick out like a sore thumb due to the holes being either too big or too small. I could always bring in one of the masks to the hardware store, but I fingured I\'d check here before walking into my local Home Depot looking like a freak. Tongue

Well, I dont know if I can help you with size, but it depends on which hockey you are doin, right?

I found it to be 3/8 of an inch. I have found that using wood drill bits works better than the other multipurpose bits.

You shouldn\'t have any problem deciding the bit size. Just check any hockeys you have made by another artist and size the drill bits with the ventholes on them. Simple!

Go spend the $20.00 on a step bit. It\'s every size you\'ll ever need for a Hockey Mask.
