Only Two Months Until V For Vendetta - stainboy - 01-12-2006 You have to admit....despite Alan Moore\'s hatred of all of the film versions of his films...you have to be a little bit excited about the Wachowski Brother\'s adaptation, no? Of course, nothing can top the original trade series, but he deal with what we\'ve got, right? If nothing else, you get to see the bad ass Guy Fawkes mask go around and blow sh*t up while Natalie Portman graces the screen. Anyone else excited? Only Two Months Until V For Vendetta - Mutilated - 01-12-2006 I seen the preview for that last night at Hostel and it looked like it was going to be a decent movie. I like the mask he was wearing. Only Two Months Until V For Vendetta - stainboy - 01-13-2006 I love the mask too, Fang. It\'s a Guy Fawkes Mask. They are actually going to sell a porcelain replica of it by DC Direct. I am hoping to get one when they come out with it. The ones on Ebay right now are just plastic versions.... I\'m sure the film will look like Alan Moore\'s last two adaptations, "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," and "From Hell" - both horrid movies from great graphic novels. Thanks for replying Fang. I guess you were the only one interested in seeing the film as well.... Only Two Months Until V For Vendetta - Last_of_the_Brunnen-G - 01-13-2006 I don\'t know anything about this comic book. Sadly, it didn\'t look all that interesting to me. And I thought the black, Prince Charming-looking hair or wig looked kind of goofy. But It looks dark and I\'m sure the fans will be pleased. Only Two Months Until V For Vendetta - stainboy - 01-13-2006 You\'re right. The wig looks horendous. But that\'s exactly how it looks in the comic. I\'m not sure the concept as a whole will transfer well onto the silver screen, but the mask is enough to get me excited. |
