My wife had her first ultrasound yesterday and we were able to see the babies heartbeat. Its amazing to see something like that. Its 3 months now so i feel its safe to announce. We have a due date of Dec. 29th. We wont know if its gonna be a little laurie or little mikey until August. :teehee:
Anyway I know this is way off topic, but thats what of topic is for right?....

Thanks guys, im really pumped about the whole thing. I come from a small family and im the oldest grand child (25) so im really excited about bringing new life in to my family.

Congrats bro, theres no better feeling in the world than being a daddy. I cried like a baby when I 1st saw my little girl and boy. My daughter was born on Dec 30th, going to be pretty close to yours.

If its okay to ask Paul, how is it with Xmas,does your daughter feel like she misses out with her birthday being so close, with presents?

Nah, she is very spoiled by us and her grandparents. She isn\'t a brat though. She appreciates every thing that shes gets. Which is cool because she gets hit with alot all at once. Kinda suckles on our wallets but its for my baby girl.
Cool we have alot of Capricorns in the house !!!!! me included. Don\'t mess with the goat :laugh:

It\'s your job for it not to be that way.....Growing up poor...my mom still went out of her way to make sure my birthdays were special. Of course not everyone else did. It wasn\'t easy....but telling them that it\'s more special to have a birthday near Christmas helps.
