The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Mario - 03-18-2009 Just launched the weekly article just.Mario The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Mario - 03-20-2009 I added a few fine pieces to the Friday Props site over the last weeks. Not only from my own collection but also from fellow known and private collectors. Here`s one very interesting piece I think our monster mask collectors could like. Sadly this prop suffered a bit when it comes to it`s condition. Over the years the damageable foam rubber got brittle and rifty. However, a really nice piece from one of the earlier films. The Friday The 13th Props Collection - puckface - 03-20-2009 beautiful mario! The Friday The 13th Props Collection - TheChosenOne - 03-20-2009 That's great! I've always loved that hand-puppet. The Friday The 13th Props Collection - onefastbird95 - 03-21-2009 I have always wanted one of those hand puppets. It would be kick (With all the beautiful words in the English language, I had to go and use a bad one!) if someone sculpted that piece and offered it up. The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Mario - 03-23-2009 I was asked a couple times if I could take some nicely pics of the different displays and to make them available into public. Some just wanted to have them autographed by the actors who used the pictured props, others simply wanted them to collect like trading cards and others I think wanted them to have reverence photos for their work on replicas.Well, I always denied for the last reason I mentioned. Those who know me, know that I do ejnoy it to let my fellow collectors and fans of the films be part of my collection by adding the pieces to the online museum, but in the other hand that I do not give any details and close up pics out to avoid perfect replicas. Not to annoy you because you guys try to get the best possible and most screen acurat collectible, but for the reason that there are so many fakes on the market that I do anything to retain the "secret tells" of the original pieces. I`m sure the chance is SOOO little that one of you will offer their replicas as original.. but even this happended before. Not necessarily in the first degree, but one guy sells a mask as replica who sells it to someone as replica, who sells it as screen used. No new story, believe me. And I`m getting headache in helping to authenticate these pieces then. One of that fake masks even ruined the friendship between me and a fellow collector when he did not want to admit that he just blew a pretty decent sum into the can. However, now the good part. I`m currently taking some professional pictures of the museum and it`s pieces, and plan to have them print on 20cm x 15cm (7.8" x 5.9") sized photo paper. I will do my best to pair the pics of "best possible quality" & "best possible protection of secret tells". In a very limited edition though - maybe 50 prints per picture. Here is one example, just so you can see what they will look like. All the best,Mario The Friday The 13th Props Collection - Savage - 03-23-2009 I have heard rumours from several members and other sources that this part 7 hockey mask was not actually screen used, it was just one of many made to be used in the film but never made it on screen. Is this information correct?
