From what I've read elsewhere (not sure if it's true), Lou wants 5 digits ($10,000) to authenticate the glove...I'm sorry but that's just insane. -Jeff

I can see were you guys are coming from about having the COA to go along with the glove and how that would increase the value. With that being said is it really worth $10,000 (assuming that figure is accurate) to get that COA ? ....What is the glove itself even worth ? My stance on restoring the is pretty much the same as everyone else. You would have to be every type of crazy to even think about restoring/altering it. It's a piece of cinema history.

That's a costly COA, but do we have reasonable estimates as to what this glove might sell for?Didn't David Miller sell his original part 1 sweater in the range of $10-$15k (correct me if I'm mistaken)? I could easily imagine this glove going for $20k or more...

I think he thinks his COA will make it worth that much more so he wants a piece of it too.

Screw Lou and his 5 digits to authenticate his own work. That's nothing more than out right extortion. He should be proud to have the chance to do so and what really kills me is it's not like he's hurting for money. That's just my opinion though.-Joseph

It should do that easily with out the COA and even with it do you think it would make that much more of a difference in what it goes for?But I guess in the long run it adds that much more to it. I dont know

I don't think you need a COA either, and besides I'm sure someone else involved with the films production can authenticate the glove, like Jim Doyle for instance.Btw, I'm apparently being called an A-hole on another forum by one of Lou's co-workers, because I apparently started the $10,000 rumor. I saw a comment by the owners friend on youtube,<a href=\"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAWooyUzFBM\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAWooyUzFBM</a><!--quoteo<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE </div><div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecMy buddy Mike Becker owns the original anoes 1 glove. He bought it at auction of stupid cheap .. He phoned Lou to see if he would identify it and give him a coa Lou said yes but he wants money in the tune of im not gonna say but it is 5 digits. I have seen his glove and it is without a shadow of a doubt the original.. lou is a Greedy *******<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndAgain, and to those lurking from that "other" site, and especially to you Mr. T, I'm not sure if this rumor is true, and if it is I think it's bs. Myself and others are entitled to their opinions on this rumor, so don't go calling people a-holes.-Jeff

The comment was directed at the person who started the rumor, and was not a directed at anyone in particular, but was a general statement about someone starting a rumor like that. You are going to start something out of nothing, grow up. Its just a headache for everyone, when no one was even talking about, or acknowledging, you.
