Actually, electrical tape isnt the bast way to go, the paint can still leak through the little crakcs where you overlap the seperate pieces. I used masking tape, and once dry, I went along the outside with a razor, (just to be sure) then pulled off the tape.

if your useing masking tape you dont have to do all that, just make your layers thin, and do a number of them. as long as you dont make it puddle, it won\'t seep under the tape.
