You can also mess around with brightness, saturation, contrast, and coloring too. A little cheating never hurt.. because after all, the mask on film does look different than in person.. sort of like comparing these two...

When you up the lighting just a hair, and the contrast a little more, you accentuate the darker parts like in the last photo. Helps a bit. Then you can mess with coloring to dull things down a bit to resemble the mask that was on film, since the film had a dull, eerie feel like that. Update us with some more pics!

I\'ve always been a big fan of underlighting, it kinda gives things a forced perspective look.
But I have to say I really liked the first pic you posted in this thread. Left side of the face shaded with the right lit up, nice profile.

The pics all suck as far as I\'m concerned! You asked bro so I\'m just being honest with you! Now, if you want, you can send it to me and I will keep it around here for awhile and snap some good shots for you. It might take me a few months to get the perfect seasonal look though! I could send it back to you just after Halloween if that\'s OK?!
J/K man, the pics all look super-duper nice with the first batch being my favorites.
