Yeah, unfortunately I don't think we'll ever get a movie like parts 1-4 ever again. Those are tame by today's standards... Everyone's idea is to take those and just amp them up to be over-the-top when it's not needed. As much as I'm looking forward to this movie, I'm not going in expecting to be nostalgic. I'll just expect to see Jason kicking ass and hope that it's entertaining enough to make me forget Jason X. I have a question, though... He's in the hood? Just for part of the film, right? I mean, they have to to have the hockey mask, right? Just making sure... From that article it seemed like they were just talking about the hood.

Yeah, he'll have the Hockey Mask. That's just my early prediction. Also, I hate to see how they've seemed to tie Jason down with the machete. If it were up to me, I'd give him an axe for the most part, but not necessarily attach him to a "weapon of choice" kinda thing. I've always dug Jason with an axe.I'd really like to see a brutal Jason that will scuffle and fight, throwing someone around and beating the shit out of them before a kill, all the while taking a few knocks himself. I know it's still early so my hopes aren't exactly high, but it'll be interesting to see more as we get closer.
