I'm also working on new Part 4 templates as well. Haven't had much time to really detail them yet. Need to finish filling some orders first. Hopefully I can hammer them out this weekend. I want my new gloves to be available ASAP. Part 1 Freddy Glove Templates - FreddysNightmare - 08-14-2008 Hi, I am really liking your work. Your gloves are getting better all the time. I admire your meticulous attention to detail, its amazing. You are becoming quite the artist in this field. Great work, keep it up man. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Part 1 Freddy Glove Templates - mpetrie - 08-14-2008 <!--quoteo(post=271825:date=Aug 14 2008, 05:03 PM:name=FreddysNightmare)<div class=\'quotetop\'>QUOTE(FreddysNightmare @ Aug 14 2008, 05:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
<div class=\'quotemain\'><!--quotecHi, I am really liking your work. That's a problem (really?) of mine. I'm very anal about details and exactness. I haven't been so detail oriented in the past with my gloves as I am now. In the past, I just quickly threw together some templates to get a similar shape but never really measured as much as I should have to get the right size and shape. I have actually been working on these new templates for at least 2 months and have done extensive tracing and measuring to try to get as close as possible to the actual film-used glove. My templates are getting perfected a lot faster than my aging techniques. That's proven to be the hardest part of all. I want to bring to the market an affordable yet extremely accurate representation of the Freddy Gloves that I offer but some aging techniques still remain out of my grasp. I want my copper fingers to be colored like the glove seen below and the leather glove to be that color as well. This is the most accurate replica I have found as far as coloring goes (thanks Kruegear.. you are missed) but I simply cannot for the life of me find anything that colors the copper or leather like that. If anyone knows how... I may offer you a FREE glove if I'm successful at pulling it off thanks to your information. Part 1 Freddy Glove Templates - josephchoi - 08-15-2008 PM sent. Its really great that you have your goal of offering the best priced and most accurate gloves possible. I like the kruegear glove in the picture it does look pretty awesome and accurate. As I mentioned a while ago, there must be some sort of chemical mix that you can just dip the leather glove into and another mix to dip the copper into to give it that kind of look. I'm not a glove builder so I dont know what that would be. But here's a thought, could you perhaps e-mail Chris formerly gloriejeanperry, and see if he has any useful tips on this he might be willing to share? I will attempt to do some research for you and ask around and if I come up with anything decent I'll pm you. Keep up the fantastic work buddy. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> Part 1 Freddy Glove Templates - josephchoi - 08-15-2008 the problem with Travis's gloves is that they're not very durable. The weathering comes off very easily, because they're patina based (I think). So while they're amazingKeep up the great work, Mark!!! Part 1 Freddy Glove Templates - mpetrie - 08-15-2008 I have emailed Chris several times and he has not responded to any of my emails. He's dropped off the face of the earth in terms of email communication. Haven't spoken with him since he retired. As for the specific method on the Kruegear glove, I really don't need to know how it's done THAT way but merely how to get the color specifically. |
