Nice work. New Blood Remake Costume - sirbrad - 08-31-2008 Thanks all. Here is some close-ups of the parts under the light with and without flash, as they are tough to see the lower areas where I was standing. I flared the cuts some like they are when on me, I also use shin guards to push the shin pieces out. I don't use knee pads though because too much movement is needed. I may add some strands of shirt connecting the arm holes to the top so that I can cut my undershirt up more to avoiding bending and cracking in the latex. But here is the pants and parts laid out, I stuffed them some to push them out like they are when worn somewhat.<img src=\"http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/3747/aug30244ns2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/2349/aug30245eu2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/3411/aug30246ob2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/4966/aug30247pr5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/3089/aug30248wo8.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6886/aug30252qc6.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9334/aug30256ci3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> New Blood Remake Costume - sirbrad - 08-31-2008 <img src=\"http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/4119/aug30261bo6.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/7986/aug30263lv2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/7013/aug30264gy4.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/9443/aug30265rr2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/4408/aug30266mf3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4027/aug30267wn0.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/5485/aug30269wt5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> New Blood Remake Costume - sirbrad - 08-31-2008 <img src=\"http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/9927/aug30270yh9.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3681/aug30271qx2.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7746/aug30272ha1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> New Blood Remake Costume - The Beast - 08-31-2008 Awesome costume man.I really like the hands/arms. the weathering looks really cool too. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> New Blood Remake Costume - sirbrad - 08-31-2008 Thanks man. I wish I could rip and tear it even more, but I have to wear this thing and have it last for a long time lol. I have to put the shirt on very slowly and delicately as it is lol. But I think I captured the best of both worlds as far as looking real and being wearable. More pics to come. Can't wait to start the life-sized with the Vengeance mask. I even bought the clothes larger with that in mind as my display is about 6' 4". So it is baggy on me being 5' 10".Yeah I cannot believe how well the gloves turned out for my first time, and look forward to making more. The only problem is cracking in the wrist, which is the price you pay for a full glove. The wrist needs flexibiliy, and the paint does come off some. But my outer gloves solves that as the wrist is covered. Cutting the hand off would solve the cracking, but then would need covering with a sleeve so you would not see the ends. New Blood Remake Costume - scream4me - 08-31-2008 looks killer, i really like your clothing how dirty and accurate it looks. i like it. I wanted to add some grey, but it is kinda light and drowns out the blacks and browns, so I left it out for now. I tried to keep everything consistent, and all the flesh looks the same all-around. Just needs some touch ups before it is ready to terrorize the town and get first place prizes hopefully again this year. If last year's got all firsts, I would I would not have any problems this year. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\" ![]() New Blood Remake Costume - sirbrad - 08-31-2008 Here is the backbone and spine I repainted. Don't really need the abdomen in the chest, but I left it to add bulk as it is not seen anyway. At first it was tough trying to keep the backbone from coming out of the shirt, so I had to do some sewing. I had less cuts showing, but just did not show enough of the spine for all the work of wearing it. So I cut it to show as much as possible. I had to add some strands on the shoulder blades, as the shirt would go underneath the piece. Another option was to sew it into a shirt, but this takes forever and makes the shirt heavy and pulls down too much. Also with the vest method I can use it with another shirt if needed, and it look more realistic underneath.<img src=\"http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/9144/aug30273ke0.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/2909/aug30274pn9.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/2636/aug30275eo1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9570/aug30277xr5.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/1670/aug30278sm3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/1782/aug30279gg3.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/2768/aug30280ej1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /> |
