"For wed clay, paintbrush or sponge and a little bit of water will do it, for Oil you need to build a rake tool and use rubbing alcohol with a paintbrush."For Monster Makers clay, when I used it, the only thing I found that could smooth it was lighter fluid (Like Zippo or Ronson). Now I'm NOT ADVISING that YOU use it, but that's what I used. Very flammable and dangerous.
