No one wants to admit that they were categorized because everyone was told by Mommy at a young age that we were all special. The <i>"I, myself, was the kid that made everyone laugh yet was still cool enough to hang out with the "in crowd"..."</i> option would have been selected by everyone. I guarantee that if you interviewed 1,000 nerds out of high school that only 25% of them would actually admit to being nerdy. The other 75% would believe/admit that they weren't "cool," but not ready to accept that they might have been perceived as nerdy. But this is what the thread was about. I assumed people would oppose my set categories. It's human nature. It's just sociology. Everyone believes that they were "in the middle." No one wants to be polarized in a social spectrum.

Odd topic.I think myself that i am a mixture of a few of those... nerdy/college-bound/goth(NOT EMO)/pothead...From the categories....I'm probably percieved by others as a pot head....wether i am or not tho.Which is why I absolutely f***ing hate stereotypes. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" />

I voted for Brain/College bound. They all thought i was smart, but "off".

it seems to me that the vast majority of us are missing the whole point of this thread. He wants to know what our high schools perceived us to be, not what we thought we were, or wanted to be, or in our dreams thought we were......Some of you really need to re read that first post he made....take care,Tommy

NIGHTOWL Special: What Social Class Were You In High School? - JigSaw - 10-16-2008

I think metalhead would have been a good one.... That's one way people see others as in highschool, but w/e.I'm not sure where I'd fit.... I suppose emo due to a bunch of dumb kids in our school thinking any white kid is emo...

NIGHTOWL Special: What Social Class Were You In High School? - Devilstar2k2 - 10-16-2008

How the hell do I know what others thought of me? You would have to actually talk to someone to find out. I was too busy doing bong hits, robbing MAC machines, and dropping out of high school. lol...The sad thing is that it isn't a joke. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":whistling:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"whistling.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" />
