ha! I was wondering about that.. How is it in the film? I was wondering if maybe they just wanted to put the low eye on the left-hand side. Due to the tilt of his head it makes the fake one almost look higher.

In the normal movie, it's correct. However, when Peter's book jacket went to print no one ever noticed the negative was turned backwards. I remember Peter made a BIG deal about the jacket to the book and that the mask on the cover was an original 1983 mask and stuff. Incorrect.

On the cover of F-13 Part 4... Anyone know if they actually made that mask backwards on purpose? I also keep seeing reverses in the various dvd menus from the films (not the new stuff.. haven't looked yet). That drives me nuts too.. how many sets of eyes looked at that stuff and never noticed, or felt it didn't matter?

It worked better for the angle of the knife going from top right to bottom left. Even though in a lot of newspaper ads the knife was removed from the image. Whether or not that is true, I don't know. But speaking as a designer myself, it happens. I do it from time to time if I have to. Although not with hockey masks. LOL

Thanks Crash.. yeah, I guess that kinda' stuff's fine for symmetrical or non-important items, but doing the Hockey Mask backwards like that is kinda' like running words backwards.To us, anyways, and I guess that's the key here.To them, they must have figured noone would notice. after all.. it's just a hockey mask. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":wacko:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wacko.gif\" /> C'mon DJ.. whatcha got for us today?
