Great news! I am so pleased the first one did so well to warrant a sequel. Derek for Jason again would be cool. Good! I want a sequel. I don't see what the problem is with one if they are going to go in a new direction and not copy the previous sequels. People do nothing but bitch about sequels. I think they can be a good thing if properly done. And I have my faith in Nispel cause he at least knows how to make something his.

Pretty sure Marcus Nispel said he wouldn't do a sequel... he seems like the type of director that if he says something he more than likely means it. But who knows, the right amount of money could sway pretty much anyone.
