I seen the trailer last night on Spike TV, and it actually got me kind of pumped. I didn't see none of the stupid Sherri Moon Ghost crap so I could actually enjoy it a bit more. I'm still on the fence whether it will be a piece of crap or not, everything I've seen so far, posters and all of that have sucked so who knows.

I liked the first one a lot and that trailer makes me want to see this film even more. He'll end up like every other horror icon, 20 years down the line, signing autographs at local conventions. You don't see Kane Hodder or Robert Englund or any of them starring in huge hollywood blockbusters. The only big thing Tyler did was X-men and he ain't done nothing worth while since then.

RZ had claimed that his Michael was more human and not a force of nature like the original and he tried so hard to humanize Michael by making him your stereotypical sociopath with a abusive drunk stepfather, stripper mother and slut sister who totrures animals and then by the time he's an adult he goes from being an averaged sized kid to a 6'10" 300lb force of nature, totally contradicting the first half of the movie.That being said I don't mind the remake in general but I have no hope for this one unfortunantly. Of course still looks better than the new G.I. Joe movie.

Yea this looks way off, im not getting the same erie myers feel you get from watching then originals, i am a huge Zombie fan but im not liking where this is going! Im sure ill love the movie but just saying it wont have that feel, its basicly another RZ movie with a little myers spice like the first, wich i do expect to enjoy, i just wish they would remake a film and still be able to deliver the same feeling you got from the original!! Now with the two TCM remakes i absolutely loved, and dont believe anyone could have done them better, imo they both had the same feel as the original!! Just the same as FT13th remake, an ok movie but never had that same feel, i mean they maintained the feel all the way to pt7 and even 8 wasnt bad, but the new one was to me just a rushed weak attempt at remaking a great horror movie, and a great accomplishment at making a quick few mill!!!
