Honestly, this guy is a professional FX artist. He has absolutely nothing to gain by screwing you over. I'd believe what he says about working on a new movie and that his techs screwed it up. I doubt he has ever even poured any of the copies that he has sold on eBay. The sad part about this is that you had to file a dispute against him to get his attention. Nothing like an e-mail from paypal saying that your account is locked and you can't send or recieve payment. It total bull$hit what he is saying about his account though. Surely his shop can pour another casting, send it to you and then you could relinguish the dispute. The decision is up to you. Hopefully he does the right thing. Wish you the best of luck.

Bill's a stand up guy... theres no need to worry, im certain he'll fix whatever problem you have.however you may need to parctice a little patience. FX guys work LONG hours and as he said he's in the middle of a job.He sent the the feet for my full size Creature from the black lagoon last week, and i couldnt be happier.just stay in touch and im sure things will be just fine.DB.

Let me give you some advise from a guy (me) who has been collecting and doing transactions like this for a LONG time! If you have already filed the paypal claim, DO NOT dismiss the claim until you are satisfied with the situation you are in. If you dismiss before you get this resolved, you have forfeited your paypal protection, becasue you can NOT file another dispute over the same transaction. It is common practice for the person filed against to come back with an immediate e-mail with all kinds of excuses as to why they did not respond sooner. I have always found it very amusing that they have no problem at all responding once a claim is filed. That clearly shows they are in fact monitoring their e-mails. I have heard all the best excuses in the world, and they are all pretty much the same. I do believe a resolution should be sought prior to filing a complaint, but if you were left with no communication or answers, then you certainly should have filed. Keep the dispute open until the matter is resolved. Keep your eye on the prize ... you want what you paid for, in the condition it was represented as being in. If the guy is on the up and up, he will get it solved for you, and then you can close the dispute. The line of, "Please close the dispute so I can have the funds to complete your order" is a line I have heard many times. Don't buy it. This is NOT your problem, it is HIS! For the sake of being fair, I do not know this guy or anything about his business practices. He may be totally legit in everything he is saying. But don't make that assumption. Hold him to the business end of this transaction. This is the only way to combat dishonest dealers. Not saying he is one ... but again ... Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware)Peace

Most definitely dont remove the paypal dispute untill you recieve another mask.If he just got off a job from the new freddy, he has the funds to make you another mask.If you pull the dispute and nothing is done for you well you will have no other option in obtaining your mask.You hate to be an (With all the beautiful words in the English language, I had to go and use a bad one!) ,but he or his assistant should have made sure a crooked mask was not sent out.Terry at CGP was considered a professional mask maker by many ,Now Look at him................

I knew Bill was a pro FX artist too which is why I am suprised this is happening, and I knew if I relinquished the paypal dispute I could not file another one. So now he wants me to send the mask back and he will issue the refund but he has yet to reply to the paypal dispute. Currently paypal is awaiting his response (it has been for over a week), and his deadline to respond is July 22. You would think he would know how this works, why send me emails outside the paypal dispute to try to resolve it? I will update here when I get something worked out.

That sucks man.. The only thing you did wrong was win his auction and send him money. I wouldn't budge on that paypal complaint until you've returned the mask and received it repaired, or received a new one.If his people aren't able to do the task, he needs to get better people. Hopefully he learns a lesson from this and no one else get's any more of those craptacular hockey masks that don't match the picture.I'm not saying he isn't an honest business man, just saying his current methods leave a bit to be desired. "Remove your complaint and I'll satisfy your needs?" Hell no. Satisfy my needs and I'll remove my complaint. The complaint is there because he or his people dropped the ball, sent you garbage, and then completely ignored you. Sorry if it's an inconvenience to them, but it's their fault and now their problem.

I have dealt with this guy many many times with no problems. He seems like a stand up guy. I do however totally agree that you should not remove the dispute. It's his problem, not yours. I think that if he doesn't respond in a timely manner---you win the dispute. Good luck
