Maybe they've changed it since then, I'm just speaking through experience. Claims With Paypal? - 01tarheel - 10-28-2009 This is just one of the reasons I dont fool with paypal. Regardless of what they say it is the most unsecure site on the web. I dont like anything that is linked directly to a bank account. If people dont take checks or money orders I dont buy from them. I bought an item for $300 or so, and the seller had already withdrew that money and bought something else. Paypal notified me they would just transfer the money from his account back to mine, but found it was already gone. So they gave me a refund and went after the seller, telling me they would even possibly terminate their account. The end. I got the full amount back.Remember, you have to call paypal and make sure they're on it. Dont just rely on the auto reply emails. Make them get ontop of things. They know people get frustrated in these kind of situations.</b> |
