Mmfx Cropsy - scabboy - 11-21-2009
I love the sculpt, but not a fan of MMFX's paint. IMO the paint is never accurate or great, just my opinion though. I'd take a blank though! Last few MMFX piece I got looked great in pics, far away paint-wise but when I got them I thought the paint could have been much better. Bob is a sculpter, I think- one of the best.

It's not just the paintwork on MMFX that throws off Bob's work, a lot of the sculpts, there is just something off, though I am glad this one isn't absolutely COVERED in deep pours......I think its a nice sculpt, and the paint isn't <i>terrible</i> either, maybe a bit glossy. It's good to finally see a different take on ol' Cropsy. It has the right look as well

I just think if you are paying 5-600 bucks for a bust the paint should be dang-near flawless. I just really don't like how he does eyes and the skin tones and over does it with the veins. I'm not saying he can not paint because he clearly can, I am just picky if I am paying 500 bucks for a bust and even more so if I am going to turn around and pay 100 bucks to have it repainted.
