Do You Remember ? - vezolution - 12-16-2009 Growing up I watched more supernatural films rather than slasher flicks. I used to watch them with my mom. She's the one that got me into it. My first films were probably The Changeling (With George C. Scott), Burnt Offerings, The Omen, Don't go to Sleep. I also remember vividly the first time I saw Poltergeist, at this point I was hooked. The first slasher film I saw I believe was Happy Birthday to me. Do You Remember ? - evilsmellyclown - 12-16-2009 when i was 6 years old i stayed up late 1:00am to watch night of the living dead at a friends house. 2 yeas later Halloween was at the theatre, we talked my friends mom into buying us tickets and she said she would be back in two hours. so we got to watch Halloween when it just came out. scared the living crap out of us. needless to say i was hooked like a crackhead.mike Do You Remember ? - SlaughterHouseVictim - 12-16-2009 well I remember when leatherface 2 came out and me and my mom and dad went to the movie store and when i walked in I saw a Leatherface 2 mask that was made out of cardboard on the wall and I was like ahhhhh I want that soooo bad so my dad ask the people there if i could get it and they said sure so like the next day when I was going to school i remember me sitting on the couch and I had that cardboard mask on and I thought i was the coolest thing out there..I would sit and watch that movie with it on my head..Man they were fun times..ever since then I was hooked on the movie!! Do You Remember ? - evilsmellyclown - 12-16-2009 we had creature feature, sir graves ghastly and THE GHOUL, here in detroit.mike Do You Remember ? - Deadguy71 - 12-17-2009 Doctor Paul Bearer originated in Detroit and then came down to Tampa, Florida, bringing the character with him for our own "Creature Feature":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2WJ3sFiDGAI guess King Kong or Creature from the black Lagoon, or Frankenstein, or one of the low budget cheap-hiney carpet monsters they had on that show would have been amongst my first films seen on there at like 3 or 4 years old.. So.. this get's me to wonder.. what will be the classics for this generation? sparkle vampires instead of dracula? Do You Remember ? - myersman - 12-17-2009 First horror movie i saw was tremors when i was around 4! Loved horror movies ever since! |
