HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA nice Spaz, I wondered if it was bad that I was now taking WoW into the real world Wink And actually, I'm a rogue, so lether armor is better for me, and I just finished a theft proof coin bag and belt frog, and I've got lots of gold WinkJared, nope, the helmet was made by a great guy named Clint, it is a total custom piece I picked all the detailing for, and got him to make the red eye slash/scar, but it's his work, and it is mind blowing! Only thing I've done is add some padding to the inside for wearing. This is his auction for the basic helmet http://cgi.ebay.com/Horned-Leather-Helmet-...=item518a9139e2I'm actually pretty excited to see myself in the whole thing, I've only had on parts at a time to check fit and function with other pieces. Wait till ya see the hardware too Wink just finished my re-fitting of my 4 foot long bastard sword.

Got the suit completely finished tonight! Just had the sabotons to do, and yesterday I got the pattern for them, which was quite interesting to engineer Wink and today I got them hammered on! All in all, I'm pretty happy and pleased with the build, especially being my first try at something like this! I'm hoping to suit up and get some shots of me in the suit later this week, and also shots of each part so you can see the detail in them. But for now, here's a few on the stand I rigged to hold it all.

TRAVIS.I never knew you were into Black Metal this much! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Big Grin\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Honestly, though, dude...That's such amazing work. I especially love the horns and subtle red additions, most notably the belt. It really makes everything pop.You HAVE to model all that stuff for pics one day in the near future. It probably looks 50 times better when worn, anyway...What do you even wear underneath it while in full costume?Cheers,Ryan

Thanks again everyone! I am pretty golly gee willikers proud, and frankly amazed this suit came out as well as it did! LOL Yeah, I'll be the only guy who can go to a Black Metal show and STILL stand out Wink The red was important, and you'll notice some slight blues on a few pieces too, you need those colors to make things look real, and translate on film. Otherwise you get one big black blob, and the detail gets lost. I'm now shooting for next week for suited up shots, I just did a photo session of all the pieces, and it wore me right down, so I'll have to go a little slower. Underneith for now, I'm gonna wear black jeans (relatively close to medieval other then the denim and zipper) and a log sleeved black shirt. I plan to get a medieval style shirt in the same red as the belt, and then a chain mail tunic and coif to go underneith, when I have some extra money. Here's the break down photos! I went with a Germanic gothic look, around 14th to 15th century plate armor. Scalloped edges, rounded designs, a more elegant streamline appearance, and heavily built around functionality and movement. Breast plate frontBack plateBoots, greaves with knee plates, and sabotons with 2 articulation points.Thigh plates

SpauldersBracers (fore arms) these are the ones I did up for my Ghost Rider costumeBelt, and accessories. (left to right) axe frog, coin pouch and anti theft frog, sword frogGorgetHelmet! Gotta credit Clint again for the incredable work, this was truely my inspiration, I built the suit for THIS helmet!Weapons Wink battle axe/military pick, short sword/dagger, spiked, bladed gauntlet, chain mail glove4' long 2 hand Bastard sword. I redid the hand guard, grip, and pommelWith the sword frog attached. It's too long for a scabbard, the draw would be too slow, so I rigged up this frog with a quick release strap. Stays in place with the blade exposed, and one quick tug releases it.
