this is one of those movies that wa all in good fun, nothing serious or anything, i liked it when it was first released and still do. Def. one of my favorite Freddys

yeah it wasnt a serious movie for me either..............i remember watching it in theaters and the whole room would burst into laughter everytime a cheesy kill occurred(hence: jason folding the bed in half). in my opinion, freddy in the film was more of a "commercial" freddy than elm street freddy.....but it was cool seeing freddy in the big screen again..........

I liked it, it is not meant to be a serious movie as stated. I love the VS Freddy look but not the VS Jason really. I think it would have been better if it was Freddy VS New Blood Jason. The Jason used in this is just a giant ogre with the I.Q. of a rock. A lot of people like to jump on the bandwagon of saying this movie sucks, but I see it for what it is and make my own opinions. I liked some of the special effects and Robert's acting. A lot of people are way too uptight and think that every movie should be F13th 3 and 4 or NOEM 1 and 2.

The more I think about it, It depends on how you look at it. If you look at it as a serious film then its terrible. On the other hand if you take it more lightly its fun to watch. I do watch it from time to time and get my laughs and entertainment

I don't consider this movie apart of any series or anything. This movie has a unique light feeling and its very entertaining, fun and not serious. Its not as bad... Of course if you wanna watch a "real" Nightmare of Friday... go watch something else. I think they manage to mixed both characters nice enough for the movie to work. So for me this is a nice achievement.Of course Freddy kills only 1 dude, but the kills are proportional to the series... Jason always killed WAY more than Freddy (except maybe NOES 4)... So its normal Jason kills many more people.Overall this movie is FAR for being great... its just a fun ride that you watch not that often... With an idea of "Freddy Vs Jason" its kind of obvious the movie wouldn't be the darkest tale of the horror history....
