Kickin 800 fsb with a gig of dual channel, yeah you are fine! totaly fine! good for the next 3 years then you would need to think about an upgrade lol! and when u do upgrade to amd!!! AMD athalon 64 is god!!!!----my next system will be a 64 if i can afford it.
IM running an:
Ecs k7s5a rev 5.0 mobo (Hacked bios from 266 to 333fsb)
AMD Aalon XP 2000+ palomino @ 1.88ghz (oc from 1.6)
512 sd < icky
128mb Nvidia geforce fx5200 agp 4x
On board sound 2.0 <waiting to upgrade mobo and add SB audigy)
Lite on 16x dvd rom
Lite on 4x DVD+rw cd\rw-40x
mm card reader,
Video capture
60 gig maxtor 7200
6gig storage drive 5200
Built oct 2003 stil runs better than alot i have used with better boards! Most stable and cost efficient computer i have ever used! 400$ final cost .... im gonna upgrade the ram and processor, or upgrade the mobo and ram so i can get up to todays 3.0ghz standard. peripherals are still working fine! its in a nice black and silver case, all peripherals are black(drives bezzles) etc, its my baby!!!! err was last year,
still pumping out fine quality! but needs to retire to a backup comp.

awesome! I had a dell laptop, but i sold it for a gateway laptop. I personally like gateway better. Now i have a regular gateway computer that my aunt just bought me.
