Thanks to all for such nice thoughts! I really like hearing how some of your pets out lived what was expected. He had another one at around 2:30 a.m., it didnt last as long this time. I just took him to the vet for the rest of the tests.
Thanks again for all the comments,

We have had a few dogs over the years that were prone to seizures. If it happens again, hold him and talk to him Gently. It sometimes helps them come out quicker. Never put anything in the mouth. There is no chance of swallowing tongues, like they used to tell you.

I hope they find nothing wrong. Or a simple fix.

Keep us posted!

I can relate. I was so scared the first time my Jack Russell Terrier had one. She is now on phenobarbital and has never had one since, so you might suggest that to your vet.

Thanks for the info. It is scary to watch, he has had 4 so far. Will see what the blood results are and then go from there.

He is still eating, drinking, and going out on his own. That is really sad man(loosing your dog). Just like you said, the dogs or whatever you may have as a pet is family. Once again thanks and i'm sorry for you and your dog.

Very sorry to hear that......

Hopefully everything turns out OK for your dog. I have 2 dogs so I would be freaking out too so I can see where your coming from.

Like Steve said hopefully it can be treated if it's something.

Best of luck,
Jay
