It\'s insane. I work off Huntley Rd. and that is Sinclair on the other side of 161. I am like a mile from the place. I used to hang out there with my buddies and his band in the mid 90\'s. I can\'t believe that it happened. My friend is a huge Pantera fan so I know this sucks for him. I\'m not a fan, but I am a fan of life. NO ONE deserved that. Anyone who takes someone else out of anger like that doesn\'t deserve to breathe the same air we all do. I have 2 words for the cop who got the shooter...Nice shot.

Pantera were THE undisputed kings of metal. Dimebag was one of the greatest guitar players ever, ranking easily alongside kirk hammett, zakk wylde, eddie van halen, etc. he was one of the coolest guys on earth and all it took was some worthless piece of shit with a gun, to cowardly get up there and shoot at him, all because of pantera\'s breakup. what a low-life. i hope that guy felt every bit of that shotgun blast that he could. needless to say, dime will forever be a legend, just like hendrix. lets also not forget his brother vinnie, and their friends family. and if your a pantera/damageplan fan, blast it ALL DAY. a radio station is doing a special thing at 10 with only dime\'s stuff. r.i.p. mr. abbott

Bullshit man... Seriously. F**king bullshit... Pantera was good, I\'m not a huge fan, but being a guitarist I am a huge fan of Dime\'s work. This is a very sad day in the world of metal.

Also, is Vinnie Paul dead? All the reports I\'ve read haven\'t mentioned him.
