Damn, that is pretty screwed up. A talk with the teacher and parents, sure, arresting? That\'s just ludacris. Hell, I woulda been thrown in the slam for sure when I was a kid if this kind of crap went on LOL!! I remeber tearing the head off a stuffed bear and telling some jackass I was gonna do that to him LOL!!
Glad to know I wasn\'tt he only gory artist! I was sent tot he office more the a few times for my art LOL!! Even was close to having to have some counsiling in grade 1 after I painted a picture of a pirate with a mace crushing the skull of another pirate, it was pretty graphic, I even used crumpled construction paper bits glued on for brain and skull bits!

I can see detention, or a parent/teacher conference...but arrest? That\'s going too far. A school in my area just had an incident with a special ed. student who opened fire in a hallway. Turns out, the kid had been doing the same thing: drawing pictures of death and murder. Wanna hear the really fucked up part? This school had purchased metal detectors in \'98 but had waited until AFTER a shooting to utilize them.

haha this reminds me of a time i was in spanish class. We had to take a big test i\'d never been to the class didnt even know why i went that day Huh but anyways the front page we had to draw something, but the directions where in spanish so i drew what i was good at drawing MURDER ladies and gentlemen i had limbs everywhere axes, knives, guns, arrows, swords, spiked beds, guliotines, bodies just all torn up, missing limbs, dead people just a lot of death and destruction.so i finish the rest of the test the best i could, handed it in.Next day i had to have a meeting with the school physcologist they called my parents and recomended to my mother that i see a counselor. turns out the directions in spanish where to draw your perfect town square ya know with stores and people laughing and having a good ol\' time buying groceries and crap. haha never went through though my mom knew i was into watching and drawing horror.

well, in 5th grade I actually had to go to a year of counseling cuz of the stuff I was drawing. But I wasn\'t arrested. And after a year the lady told my mom that I wasn\'t nuts, I just liked horror movies and had waaaaaaayyy too active an imagination.

I could have told her that.

I\'m 28 now and ma will still bitch every once in a while about what a waste of money that was. It was the 80\'s though, and if the school recommended your kid get help, the parents would listen.

Nowadays parents are a little more skeptical of the school system, which is a good thing. I could tell you horror stories of the school system here where I live. Good smart kids being put into special ed programs because the school got like 25,000. per student enrolled in the sped classes. So the school would almost grab kids at random and throw them in the program.

You know what happens when you put a bright kid in a room full of speds? He gets bored, then he gets angry, eventually he gets violent. Once you \'snap\', that\'s it, you\'re stuck in that program forever.

The only reason I found out about all this stuff is cuz my Grandfather was friends with 2 people that were high up in the state education board or whatever. Underneath the superintendent and all that.

and yeah, just in case you\'re wondering, it happened to me cuz of the pics I drew in 5th grade. By 6th grade I got pretty tired of the drooling monkeys surrounding me and the zero challenge of the work. C\'mon, it was practically coloring. So yeah, I snapped and fucked some people up and never got out of the program again. Once you show extreme violence, you\'re \'special\'

so if you feel like it, laugh it up. But it\'s the truth, the montgomery county school system robbed my education so they\'d get loot every year for having another head in the program. And by the time we figured out what was going on, (my grandfathers friends) I was already in 11th grade, was playing music everynight, and was so trashed during the day I really didn\'t care where I was.

So yeah, it\'s actually amazing just how drawing some gory pics can change everything. Actually looking back on it, I think I would have just prefered the arrest.
