Once again guys, this is just a rumor. To be honest, I doubt this is going to happen. I would love to see Sean Cunningham be involved again, but I doubt he would. Until I hear news from fridaythe13thfilms.com, I can\'t really believe anything now.

The horror genre just gets no love from the big studio dogs. It\'s like a bastard stepchild. Pisses me off because horror films rake in ALOT of money, but still get disrespected by the studios.
So now we can look forward to \'witty dialogue\' in a Jason movie?

Well, Tarantino was also supposed to direct Halloween 6 as well...I forget if he turned it down, or if it was because he was too big to be able to secure a deal...I mean, they couldn\'t even afford Danielle Harris for that film...
Anyway, I don\'t think this will happen either. I\'m sure there are all sorts of ideas floating around out there...that\'s one problem with the internet...all it takes is one person to overhear soemthing, take it out of context, and post it all over the place...next thing you know, a passing comment becomes \"official\".
Regardless of it happening or not, I\'m sure I\'ll be seeing the next installment just the same.
