Some Teeth I Made - Ben_Forsaken - 05-20-2005 yeah I can make teeth for whoever wants them, but I need a vinyl mold of your teeth to make the plaster copies of so they\'ll fit perfectly and clip over your real teeth. That\'s how I do mine and am doing Travis\'s teeth. Just let me know. PM or whatever. Some Teeth I Made - Ben_Forsaken - 05-21-2005 Quote:WOW im interested also, what\'s the price? or are they custom fit for your teeth? yeah, they\'re custom so they\'ll lock onto your real teeth and not take up a whole lot of space and push your lips out. Some Teeth I Made - Prime Time - 05-22-2005 how much does a good mold cost? Some Teeth I Made - antboy - 05-22-2005 yea, how much does a dentist charge for the mold? and how much will you charge to make the teeth ? Some Teeth I Made - Ben_Forsaken - 05-22-2005 how much would a dentist charge? That\'s up to the individual dentist and whether you\'re getting a mold of the upper, lower, or both. The molds would have to be vinyl to be shipped to me since alginate isn\'t very accurate and has an unbelievabley short shelf life. By the time I got in alginate mold in the mail it will have shrunk somewhat and any casts I make with it would be slightly smaller then your actual teeth. Which would make the acrylic teeth feel tight and uncomfortable. How much I charge for the custom teeth depends on whether you want uppers, lowers, or both. And what kind of design you had in mind. But that\'s something for PM\'s  Remember, the key word is \'vinyl.\' If you get impressions of your teeth you have to be 100% clear with the dentist that he makes vinyl molds like they do for denture patients. Alginates only good for quick and dirty study models. Vinyl molds are used for denture building because they\'re the most accurate and don\'t shrink or warp like alginate does. Believe it or not, 1/100 of a mm of shrinkage, and you can feel it in your teeth. ![]() Some Teeth I Made - antboy - 05-22-2005 Lets say i want a set like the last picture you posted. 4 fanged tops, 2 long fanged bottoms, the whole set. whut would you charge me? PM me the price if youd like. Thanks Some Teeth I Made - Ben_Forsaken - 05-22-2005 My batteries are dead so I can\'t take a side pic. But the teeth are 100% acrylic sculpted and bonded to a clear invisalign type appliance like this. ![]() This appliance is what\'s custom fit to your teeth so it\'ll lock into the natural undercuts of your teeth. It basically snaps in like a retainer. Talking, pushing with your tongue, nothing will dislodge it. It takes both hands to unlock the teeth and pull them out. Some Teeth I Made - antboy - 05-22-2005 i definately want a set, so PM me a price please for the full set(4 fanged uppers/2 long fanged lowers) Some Teeth I Made - fiend52 - 05-22-2005 man those teeth look killer! im sure you had a lot of fun smiling at people while walking down the street..lol.. i know i would have fun Some Teeth I Made - Ben_Forsaken - 05-22-2005 oh yeah, they were real fun. Plus since they\'re hard acrylic plastic, you can rip into meat with \'em, lol. Can\'t WAIT to get to a restaurant and order some steak, lol. You could really do some damage with \'em if you actually chose to bite someone. Er,...which I would not condone. ![]() |
