Thanks guys I\'m glad you like it as much as me,it seriously grossed out my in-laws, and thanks for the advice Brian I\'ll have to try the green next time I\'ve never heard that one before. I\'ve heard of ben nye but the costume stores out here blow goat so I\'d have to order it off the net and that\'s just too much work for a 1.75 machete. oh yeah here\'s a pic of the whole thing,you can really see the chunks in this one if you view it full sized. I wasn\'t trying to do a vs. I just like the look of the taped handle it gives it that well used dirty look,and I can use it with other costumes.

sooooooooo sick bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no more pbj sandwiches for me for a while! il picture hair on it and vomit. u suck.....uhh imena great job bro!!!
ps. the green makes it more of a darker red as opposed to using blue which will make it purple. old effects trick i read... you can also add some flour into it to thicken it and make ot opaque...if im going to use it in a film shoot on a window or somthing shiny like a blade i add a few drops of whole milk or cream in order to make it look more opaque...just a few tips but i think you have it right on as is :-)
