Dude, getting a tat doesn\'t really hurt... it\'s just kind of \'annoying\'. Unless you\'re getting your sternum or armpits tatted, don\'t worry about it
. I found the constant rubbing/cleaning as the process went on bothered more than the actual inking.If you know what you want, go for it!! But I think if you need something to numb the pain, forget it... that\'s part of the whole experience :wink: .

Yea the pain just goes with it.. its like your gonna get in a fight.. but you cant puss out and take some morphine BEFORE the fight...lol
Veach.. you could handle the pain.. its NOT that bad.. feels like little beestings.. that kinda goes numb.. feels like a bad sunburn afterwords..

Nice ink.
The only ones that really hurt for me were the back of my head, armpit, sternum, and ribs. The rest just kinda sucked.

Thanks for the advice and support guys! Yeah I guess ya only live once and pain only lasts a short time. My father has 4 tats and that is exactly how he explained it. Not painful, just grating or annoying. But he was in Viet Nam, so I think he probably shuts out pain a little better than me! LOL!

The pain is relative to where the tat is. If it\'s a fleshy part, like the upper arm there\'s less pain then if it\'s on an ankle. Mine felt like a rug burn. No biggee! Yes, there is some pain involved but if you can\'t do it than you don\'t really want it. No pain no gain. A little suffering, lifetime of enjoyment. Be a man and take it.
Also after seeing Tommy\'s tats, I think that solves the debate. Tattoos on women are hot.
